and just to lay it out again in the messages here, and expand on what Jan said, the top 3 lines could be this:
Kreider-Zibinejad-Buchnevich
Vesey-Hayes-Nash
Miller-Stepan-Zuccarello
the amount of guys competing for the 4th line is astounding
I really liked the signing of Pirri, but he doesn't seem like a 4th line guy at all.
If he isn't on one of the top 3 lines, it doesn't really make a whole lot of sense to have him
If there are no trades, I could see the 4th line being Grabner-Jooris-Fast
Pirri as extra forward
still seems like there could be a trade |

Gorton wants to shed salary & age even further
where : nash & vet D are the only parts to juggle
needs: a transition D with quarterback P P skills
Nash & any of our vet D = shatty ? O lindholm? fowler?
hard to figure Gorts ...just hope it happens NOW to meld & mesh in all areas
before we get into season...much harder to manuever then ... |

Hate to bury some of these guys in the Pack, but we are so stacked this year. Who gets sent down? Call ups for injury shouldn't be a problem.
Really don't want to see Glass in the lineup, don't need him at all, but I'm sure AV will keep him up at the expense of a more useful player like Gerbe. Besides, Zucc has a clause that there has to be a smaller player on the team. |
